The Hemingway House 15 min from Tambo Airport

Besides everything else the house was beautiful Positive: What we like’d is :the beds and blankets were clean and also the bathrooms. Negative: The caretaker was making us feel uncomfortable, I felt like we were being watched like kids and that’s not fair cause we adults and paid to be there.And the kitchen had lot of cockroaches which made us not feel comfortable with our food and cooking, they should fumigate and also the owner must include before booking that when you check out on your last day ,you must clean,wash dishes and put everything back in place. Also the quiet time starting at 21:00? That totally sucked 👎👎 They’ve got way too many unnecessary rules for a holiday home🚶🏽‍♀️

As guests who appreciate to stay in homes instead of hotels we really enjoyed this place. It's big, it's clean, it's modern and it's safe. All you need when you stay in Johannesburg. We had a pleasant time and the interaction with both the owner and the residents were great. The place is well kept and ideal for larger groups. We enjoyed the kitchen, that is fully stocked, as well as the comfy beds and swimming pool. Thank you for having us!

Positive: It was the perfect spot for us as it's just around the corner from Willowmoore Cricket Stadium. The house was clean with fresh towels. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'll need for making a lovely meal. The area had power problems and unfortunately it was a cloudy weekend, so the solar system battled to keep up with us. Anita was such a friendly and helpful host and did everything to make our stay perfect! I will definitely recommend The Hemingway House to family and friends!
